About Jason

My wife Brittany and I have an 9-year-old daughter, a 5-year-old son, and 3 month old daughter.  Boone County has been, and always will be - home.

As a lifelong Boone County resident and current President of the Zionsville Town Council, it has been an honor to help lead our community during a period of significant, yet appropriate, growth.

My time on the Town Council has focused on getting the fundamentals right: managing growth responsibly, investing in infrastructure and pathways, supporting public safety, and maintaining balanced budgets.

I believe every decision should consider the highest and best use of our community’s assets. That means having the discipline to say no when a proposal doesn’t align with our long-term vision—like the large-scale solar project I helped stop in 2021—while supporting thoughtful investments, such as Graham Rahal’s automotive campus, that strengthen our community and help drive responsible economic development.

As a business owner and elected official, I understand the importance of budgeting, accountability, and living within our means. For the past nine years, I’ve worked with local leaders to pass fiscally responsible, operationally balanced budgets and ensure taxpayer dollars are managed carefully and with purpose.

Proven Leadership- Trusted Results

Public Safety

Public safety must always be a top priority. Strong, reliable funding for law enforcement, fire and emergency services, and critical infrastructure is essential to keeping Boone County’s families, neighborhoods, and visitors safe.

As our county continues to grow, we must also plan for the future. That means expanding pathways, improving our roads and infrastructure, and making thoughtful, long-term investments that keep pace with growth—while ensuring our budgets remain responsible and focused on delivering the services Boone County residents expect and deserve.

Smart Growth

Growth should strengthen-not change-who we are. I've partnered with local officials and community stakeholders to protect farmland from large-scale solar, defend the integrity of Zionsville's village character by opposing developer-driven rezoning, and collaborated with Graham Rahal to bring a high-quality, one-of-a-kind investment-GRP Brands—to our community.

Balanced Budgets

Fiscal responsibility matters. Over the past nine years, I have worked collaboratively with mayors, council members, and fellow elected officials from both parties to pass fiscally responsible, operationally balanced budgets that support our community's needs.

Open Communication

Trust starts with transparency, and transparency builds trust. I'm committed to clear, consistent communication and ongoing engagement with residents, local leaders, and elected officials—so everyone who wants to be informed can stay engaged and be heard.

Without communication, mistrust, misinformation, and incorrect narratives are given room to fill the gaps.
